Our Attractions

Historic Lava Hot Springs is a lovely year round resort area, and with so much to do there is something for everyone!
Stay in our luxury suites at Lions Gate Manor or our Military compound, then enjoy the outdoor activities -
Examples are fishing, golfing, floating the river, soaking in the hot pools, ride a zip line, ride a wagon into the mountains for a cowboy dinner and entertainment.
Bubbling out of natural underground springs, the hot water is laden with minerals, but has no sulfur and therefore no bad odor. Over 2.5 million gallons a day course through the hot springs and are diverted into the Portneuf River keeping the springs ever changing and clean. The spring's temperatures range from approximately 102 to 112 degrees.
Spend an evening enjoying the refreshing mountain air of the majestic Idaho Mountains in Lava Hot Springs.
Don't forget your camera!
Some of the best skiing around. The perfect winter activity for the whole family. If you can ski Pebble Creek, you can ski anywhere.
The park features a famous configuration of boulders along the south bank of the Snake River along the trail, known alternatively as Massacre Rocks, "Gate of Death", or "Devil's Gate".
Float the river in your own tube! A great family activity.
